The Paul Mueller Company Pyropure® Electric Pure Steam Generator (EPSG) is designed to produce pyrogen-free and endotoxin-free steam using an electric heater as the heating medium. Our Electric PSGs’ output meets all U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) requirements, making them ideal for:

• Autoclaves
• Critical area humidification
• Routine steam-in-place (SIP) sterilization
• Various biotechnology manufacturing processes

In the pharmaceutical industry, the terms "pure steam" and "clean steam" are often used interchangeably. However, not all equipment marketed as clean steam generators can produce water for injection (WFI) quality pharmaceutical pure steam. Both Paul Mueller Company's Pyropure® Electric and Non-Electric Pure Steam Generators use a tangential nozzle to separate impurities from incoming feedwater, ensuring the production of pyrogen-free steam that meets USP requirements for water for injection when condensed.
