For large energy recovery banks in a hot-warm air stream application, does the air get forced through all of the plates for the entire length of that product processing?

Yes. Before we manufacture the banks, many factors are considered, including:
  • air flow for the process
  • temperature of the flow of the medium you are using to get that energy transferred
  • characteristics of the airstream
  • duct size
  • and other factors.
We then manufacture the correct energy bank to match your duct size and to determine how much heat transfer area is needed. Resulting in what is nearly a plug and play system.
